Bad to the bone…in all the right ways
A brilliant civil lawyer, David Hennings has always been the outsider—at odds with his wealthy family, shunning relationships, defying convention as a sexy leather-jacketed biker. Which is why sculptor Amanda LeBlanc agrees to his request to reconstruct a skull from a cold case murder. The instant heat between them is scorching.
But once Amanda takes the job and gets too close to the rebellious attorney, her carefully balanced life is upended by a series of methodical attacks. Someone doesn't want her to finish the job. Now David will risk everything not to lose the woman he unknowingly put in jeopardy.
This book had me hooked from the very first page & I stayed up way too late to finish it. And it was so worth it. The chemistry between David & Amanda is HOT and that is great but the story is reviting which is what makes the book so darn GOOD. I loved how the author made both characters strong individuals but with their own insecurities. And it was a great mystery.
I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Adrienne Giordano's The Rebel

Thus the story begins as Homicide Detective McCall seeks help five years later to identify the skull. He seeks out Amanda LeBlanc, a sculptor requesting her to perform a reconstruction help determine the identity. She refuses.
Enter David Henning, a civil attorney who returned home to open his law offices and reconcile with his family. David did
not become a defense attorney as his father expected. Therefore, David became “ The Rebel”.
David talks Amanda into doing the reconstruction. Then usual things start to happen. Someone does not want the
reconstruction to continue. But who and why?????
Loved the chemistry between the main characters. All the characters were well-developed. Each brought their own flavor
to the story.
Mix intrigue, mystery, a heaping dose of danger plus add a dash of romance for a captivating read.
A great read!!!!
Thank you to the author for this eBook. My opinion is my own.
