He’s death for hire…
Some people measure life in hours. Days. Weeks. I measure mine in kills. A covert military mission gone wrong robbed me of my memory and any link to my past. This is my existence now. I execute and survive. Nothing more, nothing less. I was ready to write Isabel Foster’s name in my ledger of unfortunate souls until she uttered the one word that could stop the bullet meant for her. My name.
She knows my face. She knows me. She’s the key to the memories I’m not sure I want back. Now nothing is simple. I still have a job to do, and my soul isn’t worth saving. I’m not the man she thinks I am. I can’t love her. And sparing her life puts us both in the crosshairs.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first of this series...it gripped me from the beginning...kept my interest through out...coming to the end way too quickly...now I have a need to read more...I loved the story line...the mystery...I’ll be reading the next installment tomorrow...I could not put this one down!
Good plot but cliffhanger
I hate books that are short and then leave a cliffhanger.
Suspenseful, high energy
When your mark is the one individual from your past who holds your truths you protect her instead of kill her. Programmed to kill with a red ledger full of names Tristan is a man on a mission.
As I read I’m reminded of the Jason Bourne series. This has the same vibe of energy and suspense.
I got a teasing taste of this suspenseful story. It was fast paced with action and violence. This little taste is enough to warrant a need for more.
A very good introduction and beginning to what sounds like a very entertaining read.
