Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different—more serious, more personal—and she's sure it'll be her breakout book…if it ever sees the light of day.
Zachary Easton holds Nora's fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: he wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards—in six weeks—or it's no deal.
Nora's grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining…and shockingly arousing. And a dangerous former lover has her wondering which is more torturous—staying away from him…or returning to his bed?
Nora thought she knew everything about being pushed to your limits. But in a world where passion is pain, nothing is ever that simple.

not the average bdsm book
I really liked this book. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I had become sort of burned out on super erotic and or BDSM type reads so I put this one off because I thought it was just another one of those. It so isn't. It has those elements, but they work so well within this story. Nora is very interesting. I so want to know more about Søren. He has my interest in a major way. I felt really sorry for Wesley, poor sweet boy. I will continue this series because I need more Søren.
If I could give it negative I would!
I'm the last to review this bc I didnt start the series in 2012. (I like to wait till a series is finished) I've been looking forward to tackling these books when I had the time and wasn't bogged down with beta reading.
Everyone said they were amazing. Liars. Every. One. Of. You.
I have not read a book as bad as Tiffany reisz book "the siren" in a long time. If you know me and read my blogs, I always try to finish a book I start. Usually my ocd requires me. Sometimes I struggle with it for a week. A rare few have been so bad that it totally justified my OCD to quit. This was one. I'm sorry for you "original sinner" fans.
I like smut but this had no romance, just pain. The only reason I know that is bc I skipped through it. I just don't understand why these books are popular. The only reason bdsm books are popular is bc of the romance. I read other genres but erotica or bdsm need romance, period. It's just porn and weird otherwise. Your demographic is women, no matter the age. Women need romance with smut, or we just can't connect with it.
Also the storyline.......there wasn't one! I literally made it 40 pages, flipped to the last chapter and it picked up from there. No confusion, I wasn't lost. Nothing happened, nada. So basically the 400 pages in between were pointless. So no matter the reviews, do not read this book. Trust me.
Simply Amazing. The perfect un-romance
I have read hundreds of books and this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review. I thought this was going to be the typical erotica/romance book, and while it has some steamy scenes, they are much more than just the part of the book that you find and read before you actually read the first page. The Siren deserves its own genre. It is funny, sad, painful, loving, touching, moving, and heartbreaking. It has made me feel things I haven't felt for a while and see things in a whole new light. This story is a crazy, wild ride where you can't decide which way you want it to go because every direction leads into both sorrow and happiness, but leaves you not wondering which is which. Simply amazing.
