The Undead Pool
Book 12, The Hollows
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Supernatural superhero Rachel Morgan must counter a strange magic that could spell civil war for the Hollows in this sexy and bewitching urban fantasy adventure in acclaimed New York Times bestselling author Kim Harrison's Hollows series.
Witch and day-walking demon Rachel Morgan has managed to save the demonic ever after from shrinking, but at a high cost. Now, strange magic is attacking Cincinnati and the Hollows, causing spells to backfire or go horribly wrong, and the truce between the races, between Inderlander and human, is shattering. Rachel must stop this dark necromancy before the undead vampire masters who keep the rest of the undead under control are lost and all-out supernatural war breaks out.
Rachel knows of only weapon to ensure the peace: ancient elven wild magic, which carries its own perils. And no one know better than Rachel that no good deed goes unpunished . . .

Fave Series Just Gets Better!!!
This is the 12th book in The Hollows series! If you haven't read the series, I would recommend starting from the beginning - Dead Witch Walking. The Undead Pool can be read as a stand-alone book but you miss quite a bit of the backstory - especially around the relationships between all the characters.
Each book in the series only gets better and better and The Undead Pool is the best of the entire series! Personal growth is one of the core themes in The Hollows and it all comes together here. Rachel Morgan is certainly not the same witch from DWW!!
There's mystery, character development and we learn more about elven magic. The vampire veil is lifted and we learn what happens when living vampires are left to their own devices. Society is left in chaos and it's up to Rachel and her team to fix it.
Trent and Rachel OMG
Loved it!!!!! Cannot wait for the next book.
Tinks dildo that was a great read!
I don't even know where to begin. This book was amazing! Truly the best one yet. I absolutely loved the romance between Rachel and Trent. And Rachel finally seemed to embrace what she is and take charge of her destiny rather than whining about it. I am however starting to get a little tired of Ivy. But love Jenks. Total comic relief and the real "super hero" of the series. The price was a little steep but totally worth it. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this series. I can't wait for the next one! She needs to hurry up and write it!
