So they are simple and delicious! Organized into six weekly menu plans with kitchen tips and beautiful color pictures, it makes planning gluten-free dinners simple and convenient. Most weeknight recipes are quick and easy to prepare with wholesome ingredients found in the pantry, fresh produce and lean protein. Once a week, you will find a vegetarian or meatless dish as well as healthy and tasty breakfast muffins and cookies. This cookbook series is the result of a compromise between the gluten sensitive author and her over-the-top comfort food loving husband. Learning to eat gluten-free is a steep learning curve, but critical for those who have Celiac Disease or gluten sensitivity. A change in lifestyle opened their eyes to the food industry and started a path to cleaner eating and making better choices with natural, unprocessed foods. It’s all about cooking from scratch made simple enough for the beginner home cook or busy parent. Since most of the original recipes made enough food for 4-8 people, portions were reduced to an appropriate meal for two adults, with just a little leftover, in order to save money and reduce food waste. If you have a larger family, simply double the ingredients or adjust to your needs!
