The Wheel of Osheim

Book 3, The Red Queen's War - The Red Queen's War

This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

From the international bestselling author of the Broken Empire Trilogy, the thrilling conclusion to the Red Queen’s War...

All the horrors of Hell stand between Snorri ver Snagason and the rescue of his family, if indeed the dead can be rescued. For Jalan Kendeth, getting out alive and with Loki’s key is all that matters. Loki’s creation can open any lock, any door, and it may also be the key to Jalan’s fortune back in the living world.
Jalan plans to return to the three w’s that have been the core of his idle and debauched life: wine, women, and wagering. Fate, however, has other plans, larger plans. The Wheel of Osheim is turning ever faster, and it will crack the world unless it’s stopped. When the end of all things looms, and there’s nowhere to run, even the worst coward must find new answers. Jalan and Snorri face many dangers, from the corpse hordes of the Dead King to the many mirrors of the Lady Blue, but in the end, fast or slow, the Wheel of Osheim always pulls you back. In the end, it’s win or die.

From Publishers Weekly

Jul 11, 2016 – Lawrence brings the Red Queen's War trilogy (after Prince of Fools and The Liar's Key) to a triumphant conclusion with plenty of action, horror, and humor. Prince Jalan Kendeth of Red March has been to Hel and back thanks to the war between the Red Queen (his grandmother) and her enemy, the Lady Blue. After Jal is manipulated into stealing a rare artifact and abandoning his friends in Hel, he returns to the mortal world to discover reality is "cracking," slowly torn asunder by the magic released by the ancient Builders. As the Dead King's undead forces run amok, the Red Queen leads her troops into battle, leaving an uneasy Jal as marshal of the defenses of her capital city. Then comes word that the Red Queen has fallen. To save the world, Jal must stop the legendary Wheel of Osheim. Jalan's wry narration enhances Lawrence's heady, enjoyable mix of court intrigue, dirty family politics, and ancient magic. Both new readers and series fans will enjoy this dark and lively epic fantasy.

So good

Can't say enough good things about this book or its author..I have thoroughly enjoyed everything he has written and would suggest it to anyone who is a fan of gritty fantasy.

Pulls the broken empire into a beautiful close leaving you content but always wanting more.

Thank you

Mark Lawrence does it again!!!

Mark Lawrence has become my favorite novelist. From the Prince of Thorns all the way through to The Wheel of Osheim I have never had the ability to put down one of his books from the first page to the very end. I cannot recommend everything he has written highly enough.
