#1, Jordan's Game
J. A. Huss

From NYT Bestselling author, JA Huss. Evangeline's life is dark and lonely. She'll do anything to change that. Anything. Even play a game with a stranger she's never met. What starts out as "therapy" soon turns into a passionate anonymous love affair. Her blindfold is like a security blanket and his touch is what lights a fire inside her.
I have no idea who he is, what he looks like, or why he agreed to play this game with me. But I don't care. I don't even care that I have to wear a blindfold before he'll come into my room. I don't care that he watches me sleep, and dress, and wants to know all my deepest, darkest, saddest secrets.
She's lost. Sad and lost. And even though it's my job to watch her from the other side of the surveillance cameras, that's not why I enter her room at night. That's not why I touch her when she begs. That's not why I'm really here.
I want her, but does she really want me? Or does she just like the idea of loving a stranger?
Ixion is one hot complicated man. Evangeline is one screwed up complicated woman. They make for one simply complicated complete couple. They are not looking for anything but what they find in each other makes them both complete. A must read.
Loved this story! Great “Players.”
I loved this story! Ixion and Evangeline are the players in this game, one they may not know they’re
playing, though the stakes are high for each of them. Evangeline is a former child prodigy violinist who
has become an anxiety ridden recluse. Jordan brings Ixion on board for a radical treatment approach to
I don’t want to give away too much, but if you’ve never read a Huss book before, you just need to trust
that this author will take you on a ride you don’t expect, and you’ll love every second of it. Nobody does
romantic suspense the way Huss does! In most of her books, her characters are deeply flawed and at
first glance you don’t think you’ll like them. Huss, however, is masterful at creating depth and letting
you get inside their heads so that you really “get” them and love them by the end. Evangeline and Ixion
are two such characters, and Jordan…well we’ll see…this is his game after all and there’s more to come.
I can’t wait to get to know him better.
Note: This is a standalone and the first in a new series called Jordan’s Game, a spinoff of the Turning
series by JA Huss. You don’t have to have read the Turning series to read this book (but you’ll definitely
Good Lord, JA Huss! Where do you come up with this stuff? If I could live in your mind for one day, I think I would probably be so overwhelmed that my head would explode. It would be well worth it though. This just might be one of my most favorite of your books. The plot was inspired, the writing fantastic, and the characters explosive. These characters are so multi-faceted and nuanced. They are beyond compelling, and they completely draw you into the story. I was absolutely hooked on this story from page one and remained riveted to the very last word. I never knew exactly what to expect, and the anticipation was thrilling. Beyond that, the depth of feeling in this piece was just extraordinary. This book was insightful and intriguing, impassioned and romantic, engaging and enticing, and absolutely enthralling. I would highly recommend it and look forward to more of Jordan’s games.
