She's playing hard to get…to win the MMA fighter of her ultimate fantasies in a sultry new novel from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster
Vanity Baker loves a good, clean match, but she's not above playing a little dirty. She's wanted Stack "The Wolf" Hannigan from day one. Seems as though the best way to corral the famously commitment-phobic fighter is to insist on keeping it casual. And her plan works—deliciously well—until Stack's past steps out of the shadows.
Stack learned early to stay free of attachments. But with sexy, forthright Vanity, he's the one always left wanting more. Then his troublemaking family comes back into the picture, threatening everything Stack cares about—Vanity included. Suddenly he realizes they're much more than friends with benefits. He's ready to go to the mat for her…but will it be in time to protect the woman who's tamed him for good?

Tough Love by Lori Foster
**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
Action packed, sexy and funny, Tough Love is the best yet in the Ultimate Series! I have been reading Lori Foster's books for years and have never been disappointed, I highly recommend any of her books to anyone who hasn't read her yet. Vanity has been in love with Stack since she first laid eyes on him, he's ripped, sexy, funny and an all around sweet guy. In an effort to claim him as hers forever, Vanity devises a plan to snag and keep his attention; be her date for her best friends wedding and he won't have to worry about finding a hook up, she'd be his hook up for a night that'll burn the house down. Stack hasn't been able to focus on his MMA training ever since he agreed with Vanity's plan and after the wedding he wants nothing more than to forget that stupid agreement and go wherever this is taking them. When Stack gets attacked by thugs, it is discovered that someone wants Stack dead and Vanity might also be in danger. I love all of Lori Foster's books and this is one of my favorites in the series so far, I can't wait to read Armie and Merissa's story next (which will probably become my new favorite in the series 😄)!
It’s not tough to love this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed Tough Love by Lori Foster. Ms. Foster has a unique ability to draw you into the story and connect with her characters. I'm sure most of us have never even met a fighter, but while reading the book you can feel that you know the characters well. Stack and Vanity have a non-traditional romance, and although the timeline of the book is only about a week, you see their relationship deepen. I wanted more by the time I got to the end! The secondary characters are always a hit in a Lori Foster book. I want these people as my friends, too! She gives you glimpses into the continuing relationships of the previous couples in the series and previews of future couples. I cannot wait for Fighting Dirty!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, but this one is going in my digital library as soon as it is released.
Love me some Tough Love!!
I was looking forward to Vanity and Stack's story and I was not disappointed. This book hooks you from the beginning, starting off with a bang! The chemistry between them sizzles off the pages. I love that Vanity is an independent, strong, capable woman who takes care of herself and goes after what she wants, which is Stack. Yet she has a soft, loving and giving side. Stack is the ultimate alpha male that every woman dreams of. He is protective, honest and hard working.
I love how Lori writes scenes that happen in everyday life and that any reader can relate to. The interaction between the main characters and all the secondary characters is believable. And at times hilarious.
Loved the tease about Armie and Merissa. Can't wait for their book!
Can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the series from the beginning. Not only are they great, but the characters make appearances throughout the series.
I received an ARC (advanced readers copy) of this book in exchange for an honest review.
