Treasure on Moon Lake
Book 1, Love on the Lake
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Gabe Trainor is coming back to Moon Lake, and Tori Henderson's determined to win back her teenage crush. But millionaire Jed Trainor wants Tori for himself, and the only thing his brother Gabe is going to get is a taste of sweet revenge.
Quick little read. A little unbelievable that two people would fall in "can't live with out you" love in a week. Would have liked more depth but it was okay.
Gripping story, well researched, tightly woven! Don’t miss it!
After a long time, I read a love story that reminded me of Sandra Brown in her heyday as a romance author. Amy Gamet has created a lovely story that will linger in your mind long after you finish the book. She builds up the tension and strong undercurrents between the hero and the woman from the get-go, while making all the background history and secondary characters just as interesting. Many authors bore you when they attempt to build up a side story or secondary characters, but Amy nails it! Treasure is a touching story of the struggles that each goes through while being pulled towards each other, the hurts they cause each other and the depth of their feelings even while they try to back off.
Another pathetic undecided leading lady
I give it a three star other than a one star because I really liked Jed. The ending was very weak. When the writer allowed Tori to use one brother to make the other brother jealous - an ugly line was crossed. And to have the younger brother lovesick after his brothers 'ex' when she is still hoping to reunite with Jeb. A bit disappointing.
