Cute opposite attracts story. McKenna is a free spirit make-up artist. After she gets dumped yet again, she gets drunk and decides to go on a self-love regimen and orders $300 of sex toys. In her drunken state, she transposed her apartment number and her package arrives at Beckett’s apartment. Beckett is a hot nerd programmer who has been recently dumped by his fiancée, and her father’s backing for his latest app has been pulled. McKenna goes to pick up her package, and of course Beckett has accidentally opened it. After the initial embarrassment, they decide on a quid quo pro. Beckett recommends McKenna as the makeup artist for his sister’s high society wedding and McKenna helps him get back his fiancée. McKenna is a sweet character. Beckett is more complex, he feels that he has to deny his own happiness to help out his family. This is a fun easy read.

A delightfully fun jaunt into love! Fast paced and full of sass, this story made me smile and laugh out loud more than once. McKenna is quite the character! Beckett is a bit surly at first, but no one can stay distant when they are around this firecracker!

Well ... maybe if they hadn't started being attracted to each other!
