Cassie Mills needs a serious infusion of cash into her Get Out of Dallas account before her mother drives her insane. Time to cut those apron strings and fly. But her day job just isn't leaving much left over for savings. Her best friend talks her into hosting Pleasure Parties, home parties for sex toys. Great money but, unfortunately as it turns out, illegal in her small Texas county.
Reed Stevens is an undercover vice cop with a serious chocolate addiction, who is assigned the less than stellar job of cracking down on the home party sex toy business. And the even less stellar assignment of a partner with a serious personality disorder who wants Reed for herself and will stop at nothing to get between Reed and Cassie.
From G. A. " This book is hot, but if you prefer an emotional read, you won't be disappointed."
From AF: "I recommend this book to anyone that loves a great romance story with a little fun, angst, and some hot loving."
From PA Lane: "I would recommend this book to anyone interested in good love stories with a twist!"
From Nadelle Jacobs: "Tori Scott does a terrific job of pitting opposites against each other in a sexy, very clever, very well-told story where opposites don't just attract, they sizzle. This is a story that pleases on all levels."
Starts off HOT and keeps going the whole time!
I love how this one got off the ground and running between Reed and Cassie. It didn't have the long drawn out wait for the main characters to hit the sheets and sometimes that's just down right refreshing! It cracks me up that Reed had a chocolate addiction and even has a "chocolate stash drawer" in his desk at the police station LOL, how cute!!! It was equally funny everytime Anderson tried to steal it hahaha. On another note I wanted to punch Amanda Mason the wench! Reed was totally up front with her not leading her on in any way and she was just plain nuts, and a troublemaker. I really enjoyed this book it had depth, sizzling sex scenes and great characters. I definitely put this as a great read worth buying! Enjoy ;-)
