Revisit this classic, fan-favorite tale of rediscovered love by #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts.
What was she doing here? Hyattown had changed very little in the years Vanessa Sexton had been away. In some ways her high school sweetheart, Brady Tucker, hadn't changed much either—he was still lean, athletic, rugged…But the once reckless boy had become a solid, dependable man. He'd stood her up on the most important night of her life; could she ever trust him again?
So Vanessa had finally come home, Brady thought. She could still turn him inside out with one of her sultry looks. He couldn't believe she hadn't forgiven him for that night twelve years ago—but he'd had his reasons for not showing up. He'd let her leave town then—but he wasn't going to let her get away this time…
Weak story; romance too formalized; push and pull between lovers goes on and on. This is a good one to pass up
Unfinished Business By Nora Roberts
I've read nearly all of Nora Roberts's books. The words flow so delightfully that it's difficult to put them down. I wish the stories would go on and never end.
Take a look in the mirror.~
Typically I read the suspense romance and find them satisfying. Nora has a way of making me laugh and sit on the edge of my seat all the while making me ache and want with the characters.
This was sweet and filled with unfinished business. I’m left looking in the mirror and asking myself the question. Who are you and what do you want?
I adored these characters and related to Van in a way I didn’t expect. Well worth the read and while surprising short it still left deep questions for me to internally ask and discover. Thank you Nora- for making me laugh, making me cry and making me feel.
