Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
The enemy wants us to feel rejected . . . left out, lonely, and less than. When we allow him to speak lies through our rejection, he pickpockets our purpose. Cripples our courage. Dismantles our dreams. And blinds us to the beauty of Christ’s powerful love.
In Uninvited, Lysa shares her own deeply personal experiences with rejection—from the incredibly painful childhood abandonment by her father to the perceived judgment of the perfectly toned woman one elliptical over.
With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa helps readers:
Release the desire to fall apart or control the actions of others by embracing God-honoring ways to process their hurt.Know exactly what to pray for the next ten days to steady their soul and restore their confidence.Overcome the two core fears that feed our insecurities by understanding the secret of belonging.Stop feeling left out and start believing that "set apart" does not mean "set aside."End the cycle of perceived rejection by refusing to turn a small incident into a full blown issue.

the medicine I needed
I went to Barnes and Noble with my sister so that she could buy her school textbook. While I waited for her, I came across this book. I was drawn to it merely because of the title - and the cute outfit the model wore on the cover.
I was feeling impatient and depressed at the time and when I picked up the book, I opened to page that read “Jesus doesn’t participate in the rate race. He’s into the slower rhythms of life.”
And that just about did it for me. Thank you, thank you.
A girlfriend shared this book with me and I ordered it on Amazon Prime. I sampled an excerpt and decided that I couldn’t wait for the 2 day shipping and downloaded it on IBooks. I read it cover to cover in 24 hours. To say that there was a Word or message for me in Lysa’s writings would be an understatement. God knew I needed to read this. I can’t put into words the way this book loosened my pain from rejection and loneliness. Healing started. I would put this book in the hands of any woman I know.
Listened to this book the reader was great and the book really spoke to me.
