Christmas. An engagement ring. An unexpected reappearance.
After a romantic six months, Lance and Abby's relationship feels solid, and he's excited to have her spend Christmas with his family in Texas. She doesn't know he has a diamond ring stashed in his suitcase, along with a plan to propose to her on Christmas morning.
He's forced to scrap the proposal, however, when Abby’s dead-beat brother shows up at her mom's house two days before Christmas. Abby, worried about her brother's sudden reappearance after more than a year of silence, insists on going home.
Just when Lance thought he'd broken through Abby's defenses, she puts up another one in his path. Pushing him away, she insists on dealing with her family herself, a bad idea in his mind. Will proposing reassure her that he’s in it for the long haul? Or just make everything exponentially worse?
The fourth installment in the Players of Marycliff University series follows the developing relationship of Lance and Abby from Summer Fling. It’s a story about family, trust, and where you should turn when life gets messy. If you’re looking for a hero you can swoon over and make your next book boyfriend, one-click Unsaid Things now!
A Melt-Your-Heart Romance
The Players of Marycliff University series is just like my favorite go-to comfy hoodie. Jerica MacMillan’s smooth writing style pulls you in and wraps you up in a delectable story that is sweet, sexy, pulse-pounding goodness at its best. Lance and Abby seemed an unlikely couple when they literally bumped into each other at a frat party months ago, but these two fell head over heels. You’ll want to read all the gorgeous details in Summer Fling. Trust me, you do.
Unsaid Things gives us Lance and Abby, version 2.0 and it’s delicious. Oh, my goodness, Lance! This guy is absolutely adorable, intensely hot and that smidge of alpha male he’s rocking makes me giddy. He wants the next step with Abby; ring on the finger, mine, mine, mine. The plan is in place, they are flying to Texas to spend Christmas with his family, and all is right in Lance’s world. Until Abby’s deadbeat brother strolls in and stinks up everything.
Abandoned first by her dad, then her brother, Abby hasn’t had it easy. Even before she was an adult herself, Abby shouldered all the responsibility for her ill mother. As Lance well knows, trust is a tenuous thing for Abby. Her brother’s unexpected appearance dredges up anger, tension, resentment, and every insecurity she harbors about relationships.
Unsaid Things will have you eagerly turning the pages, holding your breath in anticipation, pleading with Abby to confide in Lance, and swooning over Lance’s devotion. Go put on your comfy hoodie and curl up with Lance and Abby, stat!
Loved everything about it! ❤❤
I loved Lance and Abby in Summer Fling. I'm glad Unsaid Things gives us more of an insight to their relationship and gives us more time with Lance and Abby.
I was on the edge of my seat a little bit worrying about what was going to happen but I'm so glad things worked out the way they did.
Lance and Abby deserve all the happiness and although it took some twists and turns they got where they deserved to be ❤
