" Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join me beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" Sharpstar's yowl echoed through the morning-quiet camp. Sunsetkit's whiskers quivered with excitement. " We're going to be apprentices!" Splashkit meowed, dancing on her toes. " Now, now, my loves." Willowlight chided, smoothing down the fur on Splashkit's cheek. " Make sure you behave, and be nice to your mentors!" Splashkit flicked her ears. " Of course we'll be good, mother!" She promised, purring up her chest as Willowlight nudged her out of the nursery. Sunsetkit padded out behind her mother on shaky paws, fear and anticipation turning her legs to jelly. It's time! Most of the clan has already gathered beneath Highrock, their eyes looking expectantly up at their leader. Sunsetkit scanned the throng of furry heads until she spotted a dark red tabby sitting next to a pretty white she-cat, Blazeheart. Father! Willowlight led her two kits over to Blazeheart and sat down. " Sit down, you two!" She purred, gazing at her mate with warm eyes. Sunsetkit sat down and looked towards her father. He looked strong, his shoulders wide and a scar slicing across the bridge of his nose. Sunsetkit shrank a little under the piercing green gaze that burned into her pelt. " You know, you two." Blazeheart murmured fondly, bending over to nuzzle Splashkit. " I'm very proud of you, and I'm sure you'll both do great during your training." He turned to touch noses with Sunsetkit. " And Sunsetkit," he whispered, and Sunsetkit had to strain her ears to hear him. " Your sister may be bold and brave and feisty, but you're smart. Remember that, and don't forget that no matter what, me and your mother will love both of you." Sunsetkit purred deeply at her father's praise, and gave him a grateful blink. " Today we will be welcoming two new apprentices to Thunderclan!" Sharpstar announced, his sleek black fur glimmering in the dappled sunshine. " Splashkit, come forward." Sunsetkit watched as her sister padded forward. There was a swagger in her movements, and her eyes gleamed. But her tail tip twitched, the only sign of her nervousness. Sharpstar flicked his tail and watched her curiously. " From this day forward, until she has received her warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Splashpaw." Sharpstar nodded to a cat in the crowd, and Thistlepelt stepped forward. " Thistlepelt, you are a strong and noble warrior. You are skilled in battle, but you hold true to the warrior code and show mercy when needed. I expect you to pass down these qualities to your apprentice."
" I will."
Thistlepelt bent down and touched noses with Splashpaw, who bumped her nose against his a bit too eagerly. As they melted into the crowd, Sunsetkit caught her sister's eye and blinked warmly. Splashpaw's whiskers quivered excitedly as her and Thistlepelt sat down. " Sunsetkit, come forward." Sunsetkit started as she heard her name be called. She glanced at Willowlight and Blazeheart, who both nodded encouragingly. On numb paws, Sunsetkit stumbled forward. Despite her attempts to stand still and tall, she couldn't help herself shaking under Sharpstar's green eyes. After what felt like moons and staring, Sharpstar let out a purr. " From this day forward, until she has received her warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Sunsetpaw. Doefeather." Sunsetpaw swallowed the bubble of pride and anxiety that filled her belly. She turned around to see a lithe dawn she-cat pad forward, her paw-steps quick and silent. Wow, she's beautiful! " Doefeather, you are quick and agile, speedy and nimble. But you also posses a good heart and a sharp mind. You are ready for your first apprentice, and I hope you will pass down your qualities to this apprentice." Doefeather blinked a few times, her tail tip flicking. " I will." She meowed.
Sunsetpaw stepped forward and touched noses with her mentor. " Don't worry, it's okay to be nervous." Doefeather murmured, her blue eyes glittering. " Even Sharpstar and Brackenheart get scared!" Sunsetpaw purred in amusement. She couldn't imagine the leader or deputy ever getting scared. " Splashpaw! Sunsetpaw! Splashpaw! Sunsetpaw!"
Joy filled Sunsetpaw's heart as her and her sister's name echoed through the clearing. She would train as hard as she could to be the best warrior ever!

StrongClaw’s death: CrowWing and the rouges had began attacking the clan as StrongClaw watched from the elders den in fear with his mate SpeckleFall by his side when suddenly one of the rouges noticed them in the den and began trotting towards them with claws un sheathed the cat lept onto StrongClaw and began to bite into his neck. SpeckleFall made a wailing sound as the rouge ripped fur off the scruff of neck. The rouge then dropped the body of StrongClaw and began to walk over to the other elders when StrongClaw using all the strength he has left in him lept onto the rouge and bit into the rouges neck and he began raking his extra sharp claws on his belly. The toy he began to use his claws and scratch his neck. Eventually the rouge stopped twitching and his body went limp. StrongClaw turned to SpeckleFall, bleeding heavily. SpeckleFall let out a shriek “MinnowStripe help.” StrongClaw looked up at her and meowed through choked breaths “I’ve fought till the end. And I have fulfilled my purpose. Until we meet again my love. In StarClan.” StrongClaw’s head layed down on the moss and his breathing stopped
