When Darkness Ends

Book 12, Guardians Of Eternity

This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

The Guardians of Eternity are facing a final battle to save their world—but battles of the heart may be the most difficult to fight…
Cyn, the vampire clan chief of Ireland, is an unabashed hedonist whose beauty is surpassed only by his insatiable appetite for pleasure. It’s no wonder he’s furious when he’s transported from the magical land of the pureblooded feys to his desolate medieval castle—only to have his very existence thrown into a chaos that even he cannot charm his way out of…

Most women may be all but powerless against Cyn, but Fallon, a sharp-witted fairy princess, is less than beguiled by the silver-tongued vampire. She’s a serious soul with no time for the sort of games he plays—especially when they learn that someone is trying to close the veil that separates the dimensions. But seduction may prove the most powerful force of all, as attraction ignites between the unlikely pair even as worlds are colliding around them…

Not romantic

The squabbling and disrespect from the characters fail to pull off any interesting tension in the relationship. But it was okay for being free book.

An Encapsulating World

I have followed this series through its latest installment and am enamored by the talented writing. Alexandra Ivy had incorporated the mundane with rhe fantastical. Vampires Faeries Shifters and so much more! And the heroes are the best. Her female heroes are stronger than they believe themselves to be giving the reader a sense of empowerment for themselves. Throw in a very short gargoyle that drives the males mad and endearss himself to the women and you're surely hooked. I highly recommend the entire series and this book in particular. You will most definitely not be disappointed.

Another terrific installment in the Guardians of Eternity series! Cyn is only trying to help a friend be with his mate, unfortunately the Oracles have other plans. Siljar "kidnaps" Cyn & Fallon by transporting them without their knowledge, an swears them to secrecy regarding the task she sets upon their shoulders - a task which forces them to work together no matter their personal feelings for each other.

I love the depth of character Ivy produces, and the strong (normally sarcastic) female protagonists that populate her stories. If you've read any of this series this book will not disappoint. And, if you haven't read any of this series - what are you waiting for?!
