The highly anticipated sequel to the New York Times bestselling and critically acclaimed If I Stay
Picking up several years after the dramatic conclusion of If I Stay, Where She Went continues the story of Adam and Mia, from Adam's point of view. Ever since Mia's decision to stay - but not with him - Adam's career has been on a wonderful trajectory. His album, borne from the anguish and pain of their breakup, has made him a bona fide star. And Mia herself has become a top-rate cellist, playing in some of the finest venues in the world. When their respective paths put them both in New York City at the same time, the result is a single night in which the two reunite - with wholly satisfying results.
And don't miss Gayle's newest novel, JUST ONE DAY and the forthcoming companion, JUST ONE YEAR.

It's hard to understand where they are, or rather why they are where they are now. But, the author does an amazing job of explaining how Mia & Adam came to be so different from their original characters. Life has changed them, that's clear, but ultimately you find that they are still the same characters we came to love in
If I Stay. The book delves into the depth of the tragedy's aftermath very gracefully. If you haven't read, If I Stay, before reading this book you really HAVE to, for two reasons. One, If I Stay although a short read, is one of the best and most original books you'll read in your lifetime and Two, you won't understand the beauty & grace of the two main characters without it.
Gayle Forman, your a literary genius!
This was beyond amazing. I read "if I stay" a while back and normally I can't get into the next book an author puts out after one I really love. Wow. Didn't have this problem at all for this book. The writing is beyond amazing and I truly felt like I understood Adam. And just like the first book it brought me to tears multiple times. This book truly touched my heart just as "if i stay" did. I absolutely loved how we got to see Adam and be inside his head.
I read this not knowing it was a sequel. It was still a good read. Guess I will have to go back & read the first book.
