Book 2, The Wicked Horse Vegas
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Jorinda Pearce thought she did everything right – graduated from college, married her long-time sweetheart, established a career. But what does she have to show for it now? A degree she doesn’t use, a job she hates, and an ex-husband that broke her heart.
Looking for a long overdue adventure, Jorie takes a walk on the wild side and attends a masquerade event at The Wicked Horse Vegas. It’s exactly the escape she’s looking for, and even better, she can explore anonymously. Drawn to the man masked in black leather with the body of a god, Jorie finds the greatest pleasures of her life at the hands of a stranger.
Walsh Brooks is the most sought after man in The Wicked Horse. Sex is nothing but a game to him and he’s the type that will always leave at the end of the night without looking back. Unfortunately for Walsh, there’s no way he can walk away from the mysterious green-eyed beauty behind the mask of sapphire feathers, because he knows exactly who she is.
Jorie is his best friend’s little sister and there’s not another woman in the world that’s more off limits.
A must read!!!
Warning-you will need a cold shower after reading this sexy, steamy read.
Best friends little sister has always been one of my favorite tropes, and this story might just top them all. I loved how Walsh and Jorie were “reunited” in this book. Definitely put a twist in it, and it brought them together. I had a love/hate relationship with Micah. He pulled through in the end though, knowing the right thing to do. Some of these scenes are the sexiest I’ve read, and will leaving you feeling tingly in all the right places (yes, those ones) This is definitely a must read, and the perfect addition to the Wicked Horse series!
What happened to my fave author???
Hated it. Absolutely hated it. And it breaks my heart to say so considering this was a favorite author of mine. Gone is the witty banter and teasing relationships once spilling from the pages; I couldn't put her previous books down. This was filled with empty words attempting to disguise the pressure or desire to crank out books. So very very sad. Her heart wasnt in this book. But when she gets her groove back im all in.
Another wicked journey into the decadently devious world of the Wicked Horse Vegas...
By: Sawyer Bennett
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review by Kristie K
Sawyer Bennett takes us on another wicked journey into the decadently devious world of the Wicked Horse, Vegas…just when you think it can’t get more wicked…
A night of devilish, anonymous debauchery is just what Jorinda Pearce needs to erase the devastation of the last few months. A failed marriage, a job she can’t stand and a degree that she doesn’t even use are just the tips of the iceberg that took out her life. When the Wicked Horse, Vegas has their annual masquerade night, Jorinda and her best friend head to the club decked out in their feathered best, and plan to make it a night they will never forget. One look at the tall, dark, and dominant man behind the glass and Jorinda is overtaken by desire. When the man takes her to places and heights that she never dreamed, Jorinda is lost in a sea of lust, and the only man that can save her is the man behind the mask. Little does she know that the stranger isn’t so strange at all… When the masks are removed, and the mystery is solved, Jorinda comes face to face with the man she has always loved…her brothers best friend.
Holy hell, this series just keeps getting better! As the second installment of the Wicked Horse Vegas Series, Wicked Wish pushes those boundaries just a little bit more, smashing glass ceilings and leaving panting women in its wake. A consummate professional with a gift for taking the taboo to new heights, Sawyer Bennett outdid herself with Wicked Wish. The cover is incredibly sensual, and the blurb totally draws you in…enchants you with it’s wicked promises. The plot and storyline are unique, fun, taboo, and so incredibly well executed. I loved the push and pull, the slow realization that love exists and deserves a chance to grow. The story evolved and changed, the twists and turns, the deception and betrayal all finally coming to a head. Unexpected encounters, big decisions, and a change of heart. Not to mention all the steamy scenes in between. So hot. The characters were completely amazeballs. Jorinda is totally relatable, real, and easy to love. Walsh is….well…Walsh. Tall, dark and dominant doesn’t do him justice. But, underneath it all is the soul of a gentleman…the heart of a lover. I could eat him up. So, long story short…I LOVED Wicked Wish! I can’t wait to see what comes up next…
