He's a hotshot firefighter addicted to risk.
She's the sultry beauty he never saw coming.
Maya Jackson doesn’t sleep with strangers. Until the night grief sent her to the nearest bar and into the arms of the most explosive lover she’s ever had. Six months later, the dedicated arson investigator is coming face-to-face with him again. Gorgeous, grinning Logan Cain. Her biggest mistake. Now her number one suspect in a string of deadly wildfires.
Risking his life on a daily basis is what gets Logan up in the morning. As the leader of the elite Tahoe Pines Hotshot Crew, he won’t back down from a blaze—or from beautiful, lethal Maya Jackson. She may have seduced him with her tears and her passion, but it’ll be a cold day in hell before Logan lets down his guard again. But when Maya’s life is threatened, his natural-born-hero instincts kick in, and Logan vows to protect the woman sworn to bring him down. And as desire reignites, nothing—not the killer fire nor the killer hot on their trail—can douse the flames.…

Not as many impassioned love scenes as I've come to expect from Bella Andre, but still a good read.
Not what I've come to expect
I have read the entire Sullivan series and a few other of Bella's stories and this one did not do her justice. The love scenes were not developed at all and the dialogue seemed weak. I'll definitely read the other books in the series, but I hope they are better. This is a complete story, no loose endings. It just leaves out some details and parts of a story worth telling.
Wild Heat, Hot as Sin, Never too Hot
Book one: Wild Heat: A good read. Suspense, hot romance. The identity and last attack of the murderer/arsonist was a little disappointing and weird with the chainsaw exchange but the story was good.
Book two: Hot as Sin: Wow and more wow. I loved the personality in the character Dianna. Her love is a mature love. How the author wrote her just a perfect fit for Sam. Unlike in so many other romance novels, where the woman is insecure, Dianna isn't. This read seemed so real and stayed with me long after I'd finished the book. This book has caused me to search out this author again. Loved this story. I actually highlighted several passages.
Book three: Never too Hot: Ok. I want alerts set up on this author. This story cut my heart out. Geez! She wouldn't quit. The love, the pain, the ecstasy all entwine together. A play out of the love and heartache between so many.
This author is an excellent writer.
