Dclowery ,

Compact, effective, inspiring

This book got me excited about writing again. The author uses plenty of examples, but unlike other books I have read, he explained them in a way so that you really understand what is happening. The "Write from the middle"concept is a winner. I have already seen a few screenplays that back this up since reading it. I would highly recommend this short and effective book for anyone who writes and loves to write.

Duck of Death ,

Compact, and just what I needed.

When something is difficult it’s usually because we have a lack of understanding. This book opened my eyes to what the middle needs to do, how it works, and has helped me figure out how to make the middle of my story pop. Loaded with tons of examples, he shows you how to write your novel from the middle. This is something I highly recommend for anyone wanting to further their writing craft and avoid a saggy middle.

Book lover😊 ,

I hate this book!

This book is NOT for kids. I have to read it for my class and it is inappropriate, and gross. I think James Scott Bell needs to work on his writing himself. He uses cuss words, talks about completely inappropriate books, and I am appalled at the making of this book. I do NOT suggest that you read it.
