Wyoming Wildflowers: The Beginning
A Novella, Wyoming Wildflowers
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
~~~ Wildflowers have to be strong and resilient to bloom amid the rugged beauty of Wyoming – and so do the women. ~~~
Without Ed and Donna’s love story none of the other Wyoming Wildflowers romances would have followed...
Ed Currick’s and Donna Roberts’ worlds couldn’t have been any more different – a cattle rancher/cowboy from Wyoming and an up-and-coming actress getting her big chance on a national tour of a Broadway musical. Then, for one instant, their paths cross in a chaotic hotel lobby in the heart of Denver. But an instant is enough for love at first sight.
There’s a look. Then another. What could have been a momentary encounter of opposites attracting instead sparks desire, passion ... and so much more. But their days together are dwindling. What will they do when their dreams pull them one way and their hearts another?
Wyoming Wildflowers: The Beginning is the emotional, fun bonus prequel to the contemporary western romance collection Wyoming Wildflowers from award-winning and USA Today bestselling author Patricia McLinn.
About the Author
From being a sports writer to editing at the Washington Post to becoming a USA Today bestselling author, Patricia McLinn follows her heart. She writes what she loves to read, and is delighted and humbled when readers love it, too.
One of the things she loves is writing about Wyoming, a passion that started with a free airline ticket and a desire to go someplace she’d never seen before. Cowboys, quirky small towns, humorous characters, and spectacular landscapes – what’s not to like? Now she returns every chance she gets – including visiting through her popular contemporary western romance bundles (Wyoming Wildflowers, A Place Called Home, and Bardville, Wyoming), her western historical romances, and her mystery series Caught Dead in Wyoming.
Readers praise her books for memorable and believable characters, as well as touches of humor added to romance, women’s fiction, and mystery.
Patricia’s newest releases are the romantic comedy THE FORGOTTEN PRINCE, the seventh book in The Wedding Series (also set in Europe and Washington, D.C. – because she’s not always writing westerns), and WHERE LOVE LIVES, the sixth story in the Wyoming Wildflowers contemporary western romance collection. For news of upcoming releases on iBooks, including anthologies with fellow authors (or to hear more about her nontraditional career path), visit her website at www.PatriciaMcLinn.com or say hello on Twitter or Facebook.
Well thought out characters, who are consistent in their actions. Two personalities who mesh so well, you can see they belong together. These are the traits of a love story and this book is a perfect example.
Enjoyed the book
