For countless people, the words of Louise Hay have served as a beacon, leading them out of the darkness of despair and into the light of a better life. Cheryl Richardson is one of the many individuals whom Louise has greatly influenced . . . before going on to become a best-selling author herself. So what happens when these two combine their collective wisdom into one book?
The result is what you're now holding in your hands. As Louise and Cheryl engage in a series of empowering and intimate conversations, you'll feel as if you're simultaneously having lunch with your best friends and also attending a master class put on by two leaders of the self-empowerment movement. Waste of money.
Waste of money. Repetition after repetition.
"How You Start Your Day is How You Spend Your Day" was an especially good chapter in helping me to create a better day at the start of every day. The lessons that are shared regarding preparing to exit this life at the end of the book and the personal stories that Louise shares through Cheryl, particularly in her work with AIDS patients at their end of life, were absolutely beautiful and elegant. I appreciate the easy, conversational style that the book is written in, and I feel like I am sitting together with Cheryl and Louise as I read and re-read this book.
