You Can't Iron a Wrinkled Birthday Suit
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Zany families, eccentric friends, and ne-er-do-well neighbors inhabit the labyrinthine lives of three women friends as they grapple with real world events in one "Golden Year."
An unwelcome visit from local law enforcement, a younger friend's romantic chaos, and the death of a parent combine with daily mundanities---laundry, scones, and senior sex---to create a walloping, raucous read.
Opinionated pets---critics and alter egos---offer a rich counterpoint to the human dramas affecting their lives.
Unfiltered and compelling, this entertaining sago provides readers of all ages with a new and positive view of growing older.
You can't iron a wrinkled birthday suit
When I first began reading this book I thought "great, a bookAbout old women - how boring". I'm 63 years old but yet these were "old women". I read on and found myself highly entertained by these well developed characters. I hope there's a sequel so I can read more about their lives.
You can't iron a wrinkled suit
I liked both the animal and human characters and their observations of the current happenings. It was a feel good read.

At sixty and always w a dog and cat as companions, it was easy for me to identify w the authors characters. What really delighted me was my 29 yr old second cousins reactions to parts of this book. He , yes I did say he. He laughed as hard as I did and enjoyed the whole concept of companions and friends in nature and nurture. Thank you for this book. Lynn Holmes.
