“Peter Doggett’s book about the Beatles’ split is a real page-turner.” — Annie Lennox
“Enthralling… Impossible to put down.” — The Independent
Acclaimed journalist Peter Doggett recounts the previously untold story of the dramatic final chapter in the lives, loves, and legal battles of John, Paul, George, and Ringo—aka The Beatles—from their breakup in 1969 to the present day. Called “refreshingly straightforward and highly readable” by The Daily Telegraph (London), You Never Give Me Your Money is the dramatic and intimate story of the breakup and aftermath of The Fab Four as it’s never been told before.
Great Read by a Beatles Expert
This book is brilliantly written, addressing the history of the Beatles that the official Apple history skips over. As a Beatle fanatic, I learned a lot and would totally recommend this book!
The Beatles Warts & All
Great read. I was born in 1972 so I know little of the break up of the Beatles. Ego,drugs, money & Yoko all played their part. Such a shame.
Great eye opening story of the greatest band
I know a ton about their lives as the beatles but this book was extremely interesting and informative about their post beatles lives and all the behind the scenes drama. Great book. Must read for all beatles fans and just music fans in general to understand how the industry works....or doesn't work.
