Arabella Stone, Nashville’s darling, is eager to shuck her prim-and-proper rep, and a few wild months spent checking items off her “ summer bucket list” is the way to do it. First up: kiss the man she’s crushed on, the bad boy of country himself, Blue bassist Charlie Tucker.
For Charlie, a beautiful woman flirting with him isn’t out of the norm—but a beautiful woman bolting after the hottest kiss of his life sure is. And when he finds out his kiss-and-run Cinderella is none other than Arabella Stone, daughter of his label’s CEO, he knows he’s in trouble. Because not only is she a Stone, she’s also his employee for the next few months at the recording studio he just bought.
Over the course of one thrilling summer, Arabella and Charlie chip away at her bucket list and fight the simmering attraction between them...knowing that once it's all over, so is their time together.
Charlie and Ella
Whether it is YA or Contemporary, Rachel Harris never disappoints! This book hooked me in on the first page and I couldn't put it down until it was finished.
Charlie was initially introduced in Accidentally Married on Purpose (awesome book! if you haven't read it, get it!). In that book he was charming but it was obvious that there was more to him. I loved all that was learned about Charlie in his book. He's dedicated to his family, he's a loyal friend, and he is willing to sacrifice for those he cares about.
Arabella was absolutely fantastic! She's young but her courage and confidence builds over the course of the story. She has strength of character and is courageous enough to try to make her own way instead of falling back on her father's name.
Charlie and Ella have known each other a long time and they being as friends before they move their relationship into something more. Their foundation is what makes the difficulty in the story able to be overcome.
This was a fantastic start to a new series. I was glad to see to the characters from the Love and Games series! I can't wait till the next one!!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Country Blues Series - Book 1
"You're Still the One" by Rachel Harris is book one in the "Country Blues" series. This is Arabella "Bella" Stone and Blue bassist Charlie Tucker's story,
Arabella wants to accomplish things without her father's help. She has a bucket list of things that she wants to accomplish. Arabella has always had a crush on Charlie. The first thing she wants to check off her bucket list is to kiss Charlie.
Charlie is used to women flirting with him. But he has never had one kiss him and then run off. Wait until Charlie finds out who she really is. Arabella's father is the CEO of Charlie's label so she is off limits to him.
Charlie and Arabella end up working together on a project for the summer. Wait until you find out how they end up working together for the summer. The chemistry between them was intense. They tried really hard to ignore it, but plans don't always work out. I loved how they became friends first and their relationship developed over time. The intimate scenes were sensual, even though the scenes faded to black.
This is a really sweet story. Both Charlie and Arabella had things that they needed to work out in their life so they could truly be themselves. I look forward to reading other books by Rachel Harris.

A Cute Romance
A fun cute romance, that will have you laughing out loud. Arabella has a bucket list for this summer, and one of the is to kiss her teenage crush, rocker, Charlie Tucker. After the first kiss, they know they are in both in trouble. Arabella will be working for Charlie for the summer, the big problem is that Charlie is suppose to watch over Arabella, the daughter of the CEO of his label.
Loved the chemistry between these two, which they tried to fight off but finally caved in. Will it last the summer or forever? Loved how Charlie soon found out what he was missing in life.
Rachel Harris did a great side story on the awareness of teenage depression.
I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review, I highly recommend it for a cute light read.
