Course Description

This course provides introductions to the institutions and constitutional frameworks of both the state of Missouri and the United States.

As part of Missouri State University’s general education program and public affairs mission, this course focuses on the structures, processes, and outcomes of government institutions, as well as the rights, roles, and obligations of citizens in a democratic society.

Awareness of the “public” dimensions of life are increased while students are encouraged to develop a broader understanding of culture and society. The influence of institutions and political values are traced.

Amazing

I learned everything

Very nice overview

I taught AP U.S. government last year and needed a refresher course. This was a great option. I felt much more comfortable with the content after listening.
