Excellent Lectures

The primary lecturer of this series, Dr. Joseph Hughes, is very engaging, and he's quite funny. I thought I wasn't interested in classical mythology, but I can't get enough of this course. Highly recommend.

Vivid, exciting lectures that bring a smile

Fascinating subject matter delivered with an erudite yet earthy delivery with occasional comic touches that will make you laugh out loud. But mostly just amaze you with the depth and range of human experience that classical mythology expresses. This guy is amazing, I can't believe these lectures are almost 20 years old; that's when I actually WAS in college.

Excellent and engaging!

Funny and fun, this class does a great job explaining myth, the origins of mythology and the sometimes strange twists and turns these stories can take.
