Course Description

This introductory virology course emphasizes the common reactions that must be completed by all viruses for successful reproduction within a host cell and survival and spread within a host population. I want not only slides, but the information is very usefull

Excellent course

I highly recommend this course, which is taught by one of the leaders in the field.

5 Star Professor

Dr. Racaniello is a fantastic professor and has developed an incredible curriculum for this course. He is by far the most passionate professor I've seen in relation to his field, his students, and informing the general public. Never a boring day in his classroom and he utilizes tools (like his "giant microbes") to make some of the content more relatable. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in molecular biology, microbiology or infectious/emerging diseases. I sat in on these lessons and still listen to the podcasts frequently
