Teachers Sharing Their Stories

This course material is only available in the iTunes U app on iPhone or iPad.

Course Description

As we move forward with iPads I often ask teachers what sort of professional development they need. The response I typically get is something along the lines of, "I don't know what's possible, so I have no idea what I need." I'm a big proponent of Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK). This basically means the tools and pedagogues need to match the content. So for example, you probably can't use the same tools and methods I use in my physics classroom to teach literature or even biology for that matter.

With that in mind I'm creating this course to collect and share stories about how the teachers from many different disciplines at Divine Child High School are using iPads to enhance or transform their own education and the education of their students. This can serve as a jumping off point for you as well as show you a little of what is possible.

If you're doing something cool with your students I'd like to collect your story as well. So please let me know.
