Extreme and lacking intellectual focus
As a Theologian and a woman, respectfully, I must say that Liberty's lack of balance and sanity in regards to systematic theology, and all around principles, is reductive, regressive, and a complete disservice to Source. First and foremost, feminism is the equality of women in a patriarchal society; as a school of high education Liberty should know better than to claim Feminism as a threat. True theology supports the evolution of social justice in the name of a gender-less (due to non-materiality) supreme essence. Wake up. I pray for those young minds of struggle have fallen victim to warped, extremist propaganda. You shame the Almighty.
A Biblical Teaching on the Family
While some may find this course frustrating, its teaching is essential in stopping the bleeding that is happening within the evangelical church. God has made it clear that families are to operate according to His Word. Ephesians 5 lays out the roles that husbands and wives are to have within the family unit, which is ultimately a picture of the churches relationship to Christ. If you want a helpful outside book on this topic, John Piper's "Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood" is a great read.
In Christ Alone.
Theology is defined as the systematic and rational study of religion and its influences and of the nature of religious truths. This course is neither systematic or rational. It's propaganda aimed at progressing one point of view which can be argued is not the truth.
