Every spring and fall, SAS faculty take a minute out on Locust Walk to share their perspectives on topics ranging from human history and the knowable universe, to fractions and fly-fishing. While not every speaker makes it under the one-minute mark, they all deal with their chosen subjects with intellectual agility and wit.

I hate it!

Like life, always a surprise....

Some great, some not, some surprisingly dependent on this writer's mood at viewing time. Well worth the time, regardless.

A bit like life in the real world. Always a surprise, frankly.

Be warned, though, that the brevity of the one's that really resonate with you may drive you to spend far more than a minute diving into the topic; OK if you have the time; very much NOT OK when you only had a minute or two in the first place.

General information which circles the view of the speaker which generally cannot be agreed on all the time and shares insight and concern regarding lectures presented to the knowledgable public scholarship.
