Emerging technology applications, such as the interactive Interwrite Mobi and iPod hand held applications, offer the potential for Algebra and Geometry teachers to begin to engage the minds of students through the development of lessons which challenge the minds of students, particularly those who struggle with traditional mathematics instruction or are not “classic learners.” Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative has worked with teachers across Arkansas to develop specific interactive lessons which address each Algebra and Geometry Student Learning Expectation (SLE). I'm reviewing algebra to help my high school student. I've not done this stuff in 20 years. This series got me TOTALLY up to date and more. Thank you so so much, now I am confidant that I can help her, and I am seriously considering going back to school myself. Easy to understand, fabulous learning tool!!!!!!
Just to inform you, your last example in the first lesson you made a mistake in your calculations. R=300+120b+40h was the equation with the problem of 3 b and 2 h. You mistakenly put 300 + 300 + 80 when truly it should be 300 + 360+80.
