Description

Dr. Bryan Chapell, president of Covenant Theological Seminary, explores the unifying principle of grace that binds all Scripture together. He outlines and demonstrates the principles and practice of sermon crafting and delivery to illuminate the message of grace in each passage, and to submit it to God's Spirit for the transformation of lives through preaching.

Wow

This is one of the best of the dozens of iTunes classes I have heard. It is immensely practical for any Christian public speaker including preacher, Bible study leader, or ministry leader.
Dr. Chapell gives step-by-step instruction on how to assemble and present an expository sermon (easily applicable to a Bible study or other presentation) including everything from how to formulate a life-changing theme from the text down to what to wear during the presentation. It is very hands-on without being overly constraining.
One problem is that he addresses expository preaching in such detail that he does not have time for other preaching styles such as Lowry's narrative style. I would love to hear Dr. Chapell provide similar detailed instruction for other styles.
I highly recommend following along in his textbook of the same name.
