Description

These video podcasts contain instructions for both students and teachers to complete projects in Science, Math, English and Social Studies. Sample curriculum used in the projects is based on Middle School curriculum standards and includes: classification of organisms based on diet, current events, comparing/contrasting Web 1.0 and Web 2.0, food webs, the water cycle, equations verses expressions, descriptive writing, web resource evaluation, events leading to the Holocaust, directly proportional relationships, scatter plot, world religions, and more. The projects all show how to use online tools to enhance learning in the core classroom. Some online tools that will be utilized are Glogster, Google Docs, Wallwisher, ToonDoo, Creately, Diigo, Dipity, Prezi, JayCut, SumoPaint and others. Most of the projects will take advantage of the collaborative or sharing capabilities built into the online tools.
