The Comparative Literature Luncheon is a weekly lunchtime gathering of students, faculty, and other members of the Penn State University community. The Luncheon series was established more than half a century ago as venue for bringing distinguished speakers in the Humanities to campus to talk about their work. The Luncheon generally takes place on Mondays at 12:15 and concludes around 1:25 in time for for classes that meet thereafter. Presentations tend to be formal scholarly talks, though we also have less formal discussions and workshops on topics relevant to literary studies.
