In this online course you will explore and develop the skills, values and knowledge that contribute to collaborative learning. Today, perhaps more than any other time in human history, we are aware that no one is an island. At the individual, organizational and societal levels, we are all interconnected and interdependent. We can only meet our goals and address our problems at any of these levels by working together. Therefore, as never before, we need to learn how to learn together. Collaborative learning is the process of two or more people helping each other to deepen and expand their shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities they face. It involves stimulating new insights in one another, and helping each other make changes in our assumptions, beliefs and behaviors. Collaborative learning can happen anywhere: at home, at work, with friends, families, at school or in community organizations.
