Great content

Excellent tackling of presently-hot topics in healthcare. I love it.

Sugar in our Drinks and Salt in Our Food -- Wrong!

I could only stand so much of this incorrect information! The presentation on salt is incorrect. Salt is NOT well established as a major factor in high blood pressure. Powerful arguments rebut this -- read Gary Taube's "The (Political) Science of Salt". The arguments implicating salt are weak to non-existent. Insulin is a much worse offender, yet it receives no mention. Read the June 4, 2011 JAMA about a study that suggests low salt intake actually increases CVD and stroke risk!

I'm a big fan of UCSF, but if they don't do a better job with their other reports....

I did my science project on one of these podcasts and it was very interesting and very entertaining.
