Great course to supplement online class

I recently listened to these lectures to supplement my online History course at a community college, and I'm so glad I did. I was able to get a much better understanding of the material than reading alone, and I was able to recall Mr. Heideman's lectures to help with my essay questions. The only difficulty I found is with the audio on some weeks, it's very low, of staticky. Overall very good supplement for a History of Western Civilization course, or if you just want to learn about the era.

Very helpful but a lot of overlapping material in files

I enjoyed this audio course as adjunct to a West Civ textbook in prep for a CLEP exam. Only downside is there is duplication of material in many of the audio files. I would recommend the professor go in and decide which audio files are the best representation of the material.
