Description

The structure-function relationships of human cells, tissues and organ systems are described with an emphasis on modern cell biological, biochemical and ultra structural methods used to understand these close relationships. The first podcast is audio only; most others are “screencasts” and contain images. Titles with PDF contain the images only of related screencasts. NOTE: there are over 180 items in this collection, to access all items you must use an iOS device (iPad or iPhone). The presentations are at a level suitable for a medical school histology course. Some images in these presentations have been taken from the following textbooks: Molecular Biology of the Cell 5th edition by Alberts et al (2008); Molecular Cell Biology 7th edition by Lodish et al (2013); Histology a Text and Atlas 6th edition by Ross and Pawlina (2011); Color Textbook of Histology 2nd edition by Gartner and Hiatt (2001).

Useful

So far as a physician I find the lectures a good refresher. What a wonderful resource!!

Video

I very much appreciate this resource. In the description, it states that the 1st episode is audio only, and then that you should download the others to see the slides. I have downloaded all episodes through itunes, but do not get any slides pulling up. My machine reads them as just audio podcasts. Is there another site where I can download the video / slides to go with it? Thank you so much.

where can i get the video/slides

I too am wondering were i can get the slides for the prior lectures which I can not seam to find
