Description
„Joseph Anderson is a composer with a particular interest in the development of a spatio-musical practice of sound composition and performance. This work is focused on acousmatic music created through self-authored tools and signal processing algorithms. He is the lead author of the Ambisonic Toolkit which brings many of these advanced spatial techniques to a wider audience of artists and composers.“ — http://joseph-anderson.org/bio-photo/ In this masterclass which took place from the 10th to the 12th of January 2013 he talked about how to work with ambisonic surround sound using his Ambisonic Toolkit (ATK) and SuperCollider. After a short theoretical introduction, the course continued with practical demonstrations of various aspects of the ATK. Some of these videos have been produced binaurally, so it is advised to listen with headphones.
