A Bibliophile’s Auditory Dream

I love being able to listen to the contributors read their own work. Having the person who wrote it read it aloud adds an authenticity to the work that can be lost when simply reading it in a magazine.

Awesome online literary magazine

Although nothing beats going to an actual reading, being able to have access to a poet read their poetry aloud on this iTunes Channel is still pretty amazing. Without having to make a special trip (although it would be worth it), you can listen to your favorite poet-- or discover a new favorite poet-- as they read their poetry. You still hear how they connect with their work. Best part is you can listen to it all at home as you break up the monotony of doing homework.

Putting a voice to the magazine

The Superstition Review podcast is another great way to interact with the popular online literary magazine. Hearing the writers and poets themselves reading their work puts a whole new feeling to the impressive content read online. It is an easy and accessible way to familiarize oneself with some of the most respected poets and writers today. Great podcast!
