About the Movie
In SPIDER-MAN 2, the latest installment in the blockbuster Spider-Man series, based on the classicMarvel Comics hero, Tobey Maguire returns as the mild-mannered Peter Parker, who is juggling the delicate balance of his dual life as college student and a superhuman crime fighter. Peter's life becomes even more complicated when he confronts a new nemesis, the brilliant Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina) who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled "Doc Ock." When Doc Ock kidnaps MJ (Kirsten Dunst), Spider-Man must swing back into action as the adventure reaches new heights of unprecedented excitement.
About the Movie
Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) finally has the girl of his dreams, Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), and New York City is in the throes of Spider-mania! But when a strange alien symbiote turns Spider-Man's suit black, his darkest demons come to light changing Spider-Man inside as well as out. Spider-Man is in for the fight of his life against a lethal mix of villains - the deadly Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Venom (Topher Grace), and the New Goblin (James Franco) - as well as the enemy within himself.
It would seem that Spider-Man 1 and 2 have subtitles in English but that 3 doesn't. You can click on the individual movies and under the technical specs description on the left it shows that 1 and 2 include "CC (closed captions) in English".
"Spider-Man! Spider-Man! Does Whatever a Spider Can!"
Though I really enjoyed the latest movie The Amazing Spider-Man, there was some good ones of the Sam Raimi trilogy.
Spider-Man: Great movie! Best one of the series! Not only was Tobey Maguire a good Peter Parker, Willem Dafoe did an excellent job as the Green Goblin. Truly an awesome adaptation. 5 Stars.
Spider-Man 2: This one was okay. I liked the portrayl of Doctor Octopus from Alfred Molina, and the scenes with Spider-Man were cool. However, this whole film became a soap opera with Mary Jane and Peter deciding to quit being Spider-Man through the middle of the flim. I don't always like stories where heroes give up on themselves. Fun, but not my favorite. 3 stars.
Spider-Man 3: Honestly. I don't get people. I enjoyed this one. Sandman was cool, and Venom was completely terrifying (when we see Venom and not Eric Forman from That's 70's Show). I mean, Topher Grace didn't do a bad job. Overall, I liked that it completely wasn't one of those "Heroes doubt themselves and quit" stories. This time, it was "Peter Parker is cursed by the black venom that he becomes attached to." I was okay with that. 4 stars.
These movies are so good! They are way better than the brand new Spider-Man movie!
