Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: "2 Days in Paris" is as self-assured as it is slight, a deliberate diversion whose winsome charms never run dry. – Sam Adams, Los Angeles Times, Aug 17, 2012

Fresh: It's extremely funny, one of the funniest films of 2012, with a particularly winning style - far-fetched, extreme and nonstop. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Aug 16, 2012

Fresh: Chatty, neurotic, maddeningly messy, often very funny, "New York" spins in a lunatic orbit of its own. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Aug 16, 2012

Rotten: Much of the alleged humor is based on French-English language gags, or cultural differences or continental mores vs. the priggishness of Americans, but it's all more irritating than funny. – John Anderson, Newsday, Aug 24, 2012

so much fun

great casting. really enjoyed watching chris rock play something a little outside his normal schtick. though his conversations with the obama cutout start to get a stand-up vibe. the ensemble as a whole gave nuanced and fluid performances. delpy essentially plays the same character in every movie, but it's an endearing one and fun to watch.

this movie is so good… and funny too.

One of the few times I've found Tomatometer helpful….

Fantastically hopeful and realistically culturally combative I found it delightful. The two leads could have probably "lead" a bit more but that's nit-picky.
