Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Unsurprisingly, the director doesn't get very good work from a cast asked primarily to ramp up the intensity on stereotypes. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jun 7, 2018

Rotten: Even the subset of Nicolas Cage fans who like it when the actor makes laughably terrible movies will have trouble sitting through "211"... – Noel Murray, Los Angeles Times, Jun 7, 2018

Rotten: It's probably foolish to wish that Nicolas Cage would once again make movies as good as Adaptation and Leaving Las Vegas. But is it too much to ask that he go back to the comparative glory days of Con Air and The Rock? – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 7, 2018

Rotten: A muddled, overcrowded, trigger-happy heist movie brimming with cliches while constantly trying our patience. – Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times, Jun 8, 2018

Are you like me?

And just flat out tired of watching the same tired old actors in predictable formulaic Hollywood movies over and over ad nauseam? Well, here’s another one.

Nicolas Cage, Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman ... I could go on and on. All I have to see is any one of about 200 names and I can tell you that I don’t care how good the movie supposedly is, guess what, I absolutely will not watch it.

Gosh darn it

I watched the trailer and figured... It looks intersting enough to waste a bit of time. So rented it. Dudes, it's terrible. The acting is worst S%I! ever. I feel robbed, finically and insulted that someone thought I would find this garbage entertaing.

The action film is preferably the for the actors in it.
