So there is an entire new grouping of the "8 films to die for" on iTunes and I've been making my way through them, watching one a night for the last week. This particular film was the latest I've seen. I'm not sure what happen to this whole series but now it's campy, childish and a bit odd in how they are done. They used to be really edgy and some rather scary. Not only are these not scary but almost joke like. This one even has Michael Madsen, usually a semi psychotic tough guy, acting like a joke as well. The imaging is high end, as is the editing, etc. but the story is ridiculous and seemingly targeting 12 year olds. The only one worth a watch thus far is "bastard".
