Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: A sweet, silly, semi-raunchy Valentine's Day confection directed by Steve Pink.
Fresh: On paper, About Last Night is a third-generation copy of David Mamet's 1974 stage play Sexual Perversity in Chicago -- but if anything... it comes closer to Mamet's rancorous vision of dueling hormones than the '80s screen version did.
Fresh: Of all the date movies available for Valentine's weekend, About Last Night has the edge. That edge is mostly Kevin Hart.
Rotten: Has little new to offer about romantic entanglements that audiences haven't seen countless times in movies and, especially, on TV sitcoms since 1986, not to mention before that.
Nice try, original still is a classic!
Sorry, the original is one of my all time favorite movies, and this was made into a stand up comedy hour for Kevin Hart. While he is funny, they destroyed it. Only redeeming quality is that they had the decency to have one scene where the original movie is playing on a TV screen. I'll take Rob Lowe any day over anyone is this cast.
The scenes were rushed. Kevin Hart was too over the top and tried to overdo the other actors. In comparison to the original very close, but there were definitely something missing to keep me seated to watch it. If curious…rent it…or not!
I laughed so hard. I love this movie and I can’t wait for my pre-order
