About the Movie

Action Figures is the directorial debut of Travis Pastrana, Nitro Circus founder and 17-time X Game medalist, a film he wrote, directed, and produced alongside his best friends from the world of action sports and in association with Nitro Circus. It is a first of a kind film by these modern day action heroes in which each athlete contributed to filming and editing their section of the film. Action Figures is an energy packed, high octane, wild ride of a film that is both an ode to the old school action sports videos and a bold step forward in filmmaking and extreme human performance. This is Travis Pastrana’s personal passion project in which he makes the dream stunts of his close friends become reality. It is one crazy ride with Travis at the wheel as his friends achieve multiple worlds’ firsts along the way. These real life Action Figures will push their bodies and minds to conquer the impossible and ignite action sports entertainment.

Customer Reviews

A bit of a let down.

I’ve been a huge Pastrana/Nitro Circus fan for most of my life, have watched all of their films and even went to the live show, which was absolutely amazing, so I was super pumped for this film. I even gave it a quick 5 star rating before watching it to show my support. With that being said I was pretty disappointed and was surprised to find myself just waiting for it to be over instead of really enjoying it. I may have had too high of expectations as far as production value after watching things like “The Art of Flight” and even the last Nitro Circus movie but the editing and production of this was pretty terrible. There was no storyline, almost no dialogue whatsoever, and no lead up to the stunts to build some tension. It’s just non stop quick edits of stunt after stunt with music playing virtually the entire way through. As amazing as the stunts are, you just kind of get numb to it and they go by so quick you can’t even process the one you just saw before 3 more go by. If you just want non stop carnage I’m sure you’ll still enjoy it but this is probably my least favorite nitro film, going all the way back to the very beginning.

James Foster is a mega babe

I've been waiting a while for this movie to come out and it was well worth the wait. These guys are insanely talented and take it to a whole new level. Well worth any amount of money they ask!!
