Only Rocky and Bullwinkle can save us, but first it's up to squirrel and moose to foil Fearless Leader's scheme to destroy the world! This fun-filled, pun-filled comic adventure picks up where the much-beloved series left off, spoofing television, politics, higher education, the Internet and especially themselves. Rotten: It's sledgehammer whimsy, and it's not talking to me.
Fresh: Rocky and Bullwinkle is stuffed with smart Internet gags, silly movie references and a happy energy.
Rotten: This movie is a bloody mess if I've ever seen one.
Fresh: There's a word for this movie, and that word is: jolly.
The best movie growing up...
I remember watching this cartoon when I was very young, and I actually started to cry when it stopped showing on TV. Then in 2000, when I heard that there was gonna be a movie about Rocky and Bullwinkle, I was so happy. To me, this movie is the modern version of the TV show from the 50's. Some of the kids that I know that watched this movie actually were curious about the show and started to like it as much as their parents did when they watched it. I'm 17 years old and, personally, watching this movie actually made me feel like I was 8 years old again. I don't know why this movie is getting bad vibes from other people. Obviously, they don't know good comedy, or they are acting too mature to let one kid movie get in the way of their adult life. People who have kids, you should watch cartoons with your kids. Trust me, they'll love you for it alot more in the future. As for the others that give negative comments to things they obviouly don't like, here's three DON'TS somebody showed me: 1. If you DON'T like it... 2. DON'T watch it, otherwise... 3. DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!
Okay ( if you're young) otherwise, pretty bad
The reason why I didn't give it only one star, is when i was young, I loved it. Now after re-watching it, I've realised, it's not that good
This movie might have been ok had it been made in the 60's. However, it's not the 60's and this movie is quite disappointing. I'm thankful I waited to watch it on tv and not spend the money at the theatre. If you have absolutely nothing else to watch you're still better off watching the weather channel.
