Ten years after the Academy Award®-winning An Inconvenient Truth brought climate change to the forefront of mainstream culture, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power proves to be more relevant than ever today. Join former Vice President Al Gore as he continues his tireless fight, traveling around the globe to educate and inspire the next generation of climate champions. Eye-opening and alarming, this compelling follow-up shows that while the stakes have never been higher, the solutions to the climate crisis are still within our reach.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Would I still recommend "An Inconvenient Sequel"? Sure, although I doubt there is much one could glean from this movie that couldn't be obtained by rewatching "An Inconvenient Truth." – Matthew Rozsa, Salon.com, Aug 15, 2017

Fresh: An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power is a hugely effective lecture. – Bob Mondello, NPR, Aug 17, 2017

Fresh: Gore is seen on the phone and in meetings with various figures, pushing toward a goal of saving the planet. "The Avengers" do it with intergalactic battles, Gore does it with an iPhone and a global travel itinerary. – Adam Graham, Detroit News, Aug 4, 2017

Rotten: Documentaries that are driven by passion always run the risk of side-lining facts and clear arguments in favour of emotional high points and grandiose virtue signalling. That is certainly the biggest failing of Inconvenient Sequel. – Jim Schembri, 3AW, Aug 11, 2017

This is the truth

Do the climate deniers realize that there is pumps on the streets of Miami due to sea level rising? The mayor of Miami put the pumps in 1-2 years ago and they need to upgrade the system. Do you actually think that seawater on the streets of a major city are normal? Do you deny the fact that 99.9% of scientists all agree that climate change is real? Ice melting at the rate of kilometers a year, every year. What about the REAL news of climate refugees? The fact that all our beautiful coral reefs are bleaching? It is just a cycle, right? In 5 years the climate will correct itself, like it has a reset button, yeah? Be honest with yourself and educate yourself before you just say it is a cycle and it is BS, it isn't. Does Al Gore have a private jet? Probably. But, he has dedicated his life to this and spends a majority of his time educating people and figuring out real solutions instead of saying it is fake. If any of you deny that climate change is real, you are fooling yourself. Thankfully the ocean slows down the actual temperature change, because if it didn't, instead of 2 degree Celsius change we would be looking around 12 degrees. Why would anyone deny climate change? Ahhhh, I know why, money from the fossil fuel industry, which is literally a dinosaur. Just like Long Distance phone carriers, blockbuster, and brick and mortar stores. You can thank the Koch Brothers for the deniers and filling your head with lies, so they can fill their wallets. Turn off Fox News and step into reality.

Important film, and very optimistic

Be sure to watch this.

Failed the second time...

It is just not possible to take Gore seriously after his first failed attempt at scaring people into saving the planet. His credibility is not there and his "facts" are just laughable. Not worth watching.
