Plot Summary

Outrageous sequel to the hit comedy "Analyze This!" Mafia boss Paul Vitti, Oscar-winner Robert DeNiro ("City By the Sea," "Meet the Fockers") is quietly released from prison and naturally, returns to visit his analyst Dr. Ben Sobel, Emmy-winner Billy Crystal ("Monsters, Inc.," "America's Sweethearts"). Surprisingly, it's the doctor who is now in need of help, as the stress of taking over the family practice following the death of his father bears down on him. Meanwhile, Paul tries to adjust to non-mafia life, eventually taking a job as a consultant on a TV show about...the mafia! Starring Emmy-winner Lisa Kudrow ("Analyze This," TV's "Friends"), Joe Viterelli ("Shallow Hal," "Analyze This"), Emmy-nominated Anthony LaPaglia ("Autumn in New York," TV's "Without A Trace") and Oscar and Golden Globe-nominee Cathy Moriarty ("Cop Land," "Casper"). Directed by Harold Ramis ("Analyze This," "As Good As It Gets").

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Audiences who loved Analyze This may have to see the new movie to believe just how empty it is. What they'll find is a profound difference between This and That. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Dec 10, 2002

Rotten: Where the first movie struck just the right tone, blending anxiety attacks with machine-gun attacks to come up with a comic La Cosa Neurosis, this picture consistently goes too far in all directions. – Bruce Newman, San Jose Mercury News, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Just a collection of this and that -- whatever fills time -- with no unified whole. – Steven Rosen, Denver Post, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Plays like the sort of phone-it-in sequel that's patched together mainly to further enrich the people who made the original. – Jay Boyar, Orlando Sentinel, Jun 24, 2010

Anal yze That

Simply smashing If I do say so for myself, just hysterical to say the least left me in stitch's,one might say. If your looking for a good comedy this will definitly get your knicker's in a uproar... my opinion or,so there mate.

Robert de Niro at his best

I can't enough watching this movie over & over,,,,,, actually all actors in this movie are really funny

Look, It's a sequel, BUT

Look, the first movie had an awesome feel and speed to the movie; the sequel isn't as good.

I find the lines, the acting, the comedy, to be HYSTERICAL IN THIS MOVIE.

Regardless, you have Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro. MR. OSCAR, AND MR. ACADEMY AWARD WINNER ROBERT DE NIRO.

RENT IT ALREADY. (or buy it.)
